Now it can! Project Pastiche, a grassroots fundraising campaign to provide medical treatment for transsexuals and support for the Sylvia Rivera Law Project as well as the Transgender Law Center of California, is 3 hours into a 24 hour cyber-findraiser, ending 9 a.m. Saturday, May 16.
They're already at 10% of the goal ($100) and I believe the goal will be met or exceeded by the time the fundraiser ends.
Why? Because I know there are millions of people out there who want to help others live a life of simple dignity, especiallly when that person has the same goal they do--to make equal rights for everyone a reality.
Project Pastiche is experimenting alongside tipjoy to see if we can raise $100 dollars toward The Project!
9 am on Friday, may 15 - 9 am Saturday, May 16 is when the magic happens.
